Vidaful Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving historic places, inspiring creativity, nurturing nature, and strengthening communities.

Rooted in the belief that history, art, education, and compassion can transform lives, we restore and steward meaningful places that serve as gathering grounds for learning, connection, and healing.

Many of the places we protect are rare and irreplaceable. In Trinity County, California, Vidaful is preserving some of the last surviving mining-era structures connected to the original Cañon City settlement—an increasingly rare physical link to California’s Gold Rush history. By safeguarding these places, we ensure their stories remain accessible to future generations.
