About Vidaful Foundation
Preserving Places. Nurturing Joy.
Vidaful Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving historic places, inspiring creativity and binding meaningful connections to nature.
Rooted in the belief that history, art, education, and compassion can transform lives, we restore and steward meaningful places that serve as gathering grounds for discovery, connection, and healing.
The places we protect are rare and irreplaceable. In Trinity County, California, Vidaful is preserving some of the last surviving mining-era structures connected to the original Cañon City settlement—an increasingly rare physical link to California’s Gold Rush history. By safeguarding these places, we ensure their stories remain accessible to future generations.
The location happens to be in a marvelous wilderness, surrounded by a half million acres of the Trinity National Forest.
Through future donations and proceeds generated by our work, Vidaful seeks to support local animal shelters and rescues as an extension of our commitment to compassion, community, and care for all living beings.
